Overview

We are looking for a Graduate Performance Improvement Engineer to join our team to support the delivery of WorkSmart, Viridor’s Operational and Maintenance Strategy to ensure a successful implementation of the programme. You will be at the forefront of championing an approach that facilitates and drives Continuous Improvement across the business and will have the opportunity to really make an impact. You will apply the skills you have learnt and support the site teams across a network of highly technical automated recycling facilities, delivering effective and sustainable improvements in process reliability, quality and compliance. The wide range of recycling treatment technologies we use, including advanced and standard materials recycling facilities, mechanical biological treatment plants, composting and household waste recycling centres, means that we are able to put more of society's waste into action. The primary role of the Graduate Maintenance Engineer will be to support engineering, maintenance and process engineering teams in the development and delivery of maintenance and optimisation projects across the Recycling Operations business. You will provide technical/engineering support and expertise to the site teams throughout the maintenance improvement, optimisation and asset replacement projects leading to increased safety, plant performance, quality and capacity across the MRF, glass, plastics and polymers recycling assets.
