Overview
Graduate Web Developer Elevation Business Support are currently recruiting for Graduate Web Developer to work for our client. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career with a company that will offer exposure to various industry sectors, including Engineering, Manufacturing and Distribution and that will provide the training and skills needed to successfully support end-to-end development. You will be based in a newly refurbished office in Sheffield and will join a strong and well-experienced IT team, made up of specialists and long-standing expertise. Reporting directly to the Group IT Director and working closely with their experienced Web Developer, you will support this Group's development plan, in line with key business strategies and, following a period of training, will have responsibility to lead your own development projects / modules from start to finish. Essential Skills: Object-orientated programming PHP (v. 7.x) HTML5/CSS3 MySQL (v. 8.x) Basic knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript Desirable Skills: Basic knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git Knowledge of Bootstrap (v4.x) Proficient in responsive web development Basic knowledge of UI and UX best practices Benefits Include: Competitive salary 23-days holidays (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service Early Friday finish Newly refurbished offices Free on-site parking Personal development opportunities The successful candidate will be a reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic Graduate, who has a naturally analytical approach to work and good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work as part of an established team, on own initiative, and who can quickly add value.
