As we continue to scale in 2020, we’re looking to hire a highly organised Junior Marketing Manager with killer copy and design skills, and a burning ambition to progress in their career. You’ll be someone who loves creating things, be they  brochures ,  bottles  or  cardboard boats . We’re not sure what we were thinking with the last one (bottom right - our Bristol team gracefully sinking into the harbour). As well as creating content, you’ll also be performing crucial work keeping the Runway East marketing machine running smoothly - from keeping our website up to date to running our Investor Communications to researching the market in new launch cities, you’ll be working across multiple channels. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who loves the fact that Runway East is a results driven company that empowers its team to be entrepreneurial. You’ll have a budget to spend on freelancers (set at your manager’s discretion), and a supportive and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to help you hit your company and career goals. The Nitty Gritty: What you’ll take over (and make your own) The core responsibilities will include: Copywriting - from our website to nurturing emails, you’ll be writing compelling and persuasive copy that brings the Runway East brand to life Design - you’ll be designing all sorts, from website pages to newsletters to posters Site launches - you’ll help run a marketing campaign to accompany each new site launch Digital Experimentation - you may not necessarily be an analytical whizz (yet) but you’ll be keen to learn, and under the guidance of are Senior Digital Marketing Manager (who has complimentary skills to yours), you’ll develop your understanding of how to systematically measure & tune marketing performance SEO - you’ll be writing or managing freelancers who write blog posts that generate organic traffic Brand Asset Management - you’ll ensure all our proof points, photos, testimonials and more are up to date on our website, as well as ensure all our physical assets (brochures, leaflets) are up to date and available in all sites Requirements Who You Are;  The Non Negotiables: Creative to the core You’re a dab hand at design and copy, with a portfolio of work to point to. You’re proficient with all the expected tools (InDesign, Photoshop etc). You’ve designed web pages before and created content across email and social. Digital Native If you played Bingo with the words Mailchimp, Wordpress, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, you might not have all of them but you’d have a fair few of them (or similar alternatives). Crucially - you are the sort of person who picks up these tools intuitively and enjoys learning to use them. An eye for detail You have great attention to detail which means you never deliver copy with basic errors in it or design work with clear flaws in it. This means you know ‘what good looks like’ - and can feedback effectively to freelancers and team members on how to bring their work up to the standards we set in our brand guidelines. Operationally On-It You’re used to wearing multiple hats at once. You manage your work, and others, effectively. You’re not afraid of a spreadsheet or task management tool - in fact, your very keen on them. Commercially Switched On You’re keen to drive tangible commercial outcomes in your role and to see the results of your efforts not just in likes, but in leads. You are someone who, when prioritising their tasks or contributing to strategy, always asks ‘is this the best spend of my time or the companies money’.
