Overview

This is about analysing how well our online store performs, and using this knowledge to improve the way we do things. You'll need to understand our customers, and really get to grips with how data can help every part of our business. It'll see you come up with new and innovative ideas, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And we're giving customers even more ways to shop at Aldi with our online store. We are currently based in Tamworth whilst our Head Office in Atherstone gets a makeover, but the plan is to move back once the building is fully geared up to cope with our growth. An exciting and talented logistics analyst is required to join the growing Aldi UK e-Commerce team. This will be an electrifying role that offers vast scope to deliver change and to influence the international business. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (not exhaustive) • Identify and deliver new projects to meet the growing business goals • Interpret data and analyse the results using statistical techniques to drive business change. • You will apply industry experience to implement and define new warehouse designs and operating procedures. • You will develop business cases for change and articulate your requirements to technical / development teams to deliver improvements to technology for Business benefit. • You will refine and improve the reporting of daily, weekly and monthly KPIs on the performance of the e-Commerce fulfilment operation. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: • Experience of defining and managing project plans. • Educated to degree level. • Experience within the logistics and supply chain sector. • Experience of managing and delivering wide scale logistics projects. • Understanding of Warehouse and Carrier Management Systems is desirable. • Proven delivery and budget management experience is desirable. • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Ability to build trust enabling the management and influencing of stakeholders at all levels. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels. • Technically minded but business driven. • Adaptable to a changing environment with a can do attitude. • Logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail and excellent presentation skills. • Highly analytical with the ability to identify and solve problems. The role will be split between two locations, our office in Tamworth and warehouse in Corby.
