FEDERATED INVESTORS (UK) LLP POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 - 5 years of sales experience required; University degree (2:1 degree preferred) FCA registration (CF30) preferred Knowledge of quantitative mutual (UCITS) fund investment techniques and terminology required and experience with segregated accounts required. Sales experience in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and/or Northern England preferred Superior interpersonal, communication and presentations skills required Proficient in MS office MAJOR DUTIES: Responsible for developing and maintaining existing relationships with Institutional clients as well as identifying and acquiring new business to meet defined activity and sales goals for Federated UK’s money market funds. Proactively conduct systematic sales calls via face-to-face and outbound telephone with current and prospective clients to solicit business, identify needs, explain Federated’s investment processes and generate interest in the firm’s products for new sales, asset retention, business development and cross selling. Create and implement a business plan and sales strategy for assigned territories. Assist and implement a marketing program to increase sales. Expand product offerings and expand firm level relationships within the geographic territory. Respond to inquiries about the firm’s investment strategies, investment process, performance returns, portfolio transactions, for individual separately managed account programs, UCITS. Build a comprehensive knowledge of the client base, investment products, marketing campaigns and information about Federated’s key competitors. Utilize internal Federated departments to assure proper client servicing related to items such as assisting with new account paperwork and account inquiries. HOURS/LOCATION: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Varied hours 50% Travel required Territory: Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England
