Company Background The Underfloor Heating Store was founded in 2008. Since then the company has developed to be the biggest retailer of underfloor heating products in the UK winning countless awards and appearing on mainstream TV shows such as DIY SOS and the Home Show. The business now turns over £30M and is continuing to grow year on year as underfloor heating continues to grow in domestic and commercial heating market. Position Overview This role will involve taking in warm leads on phone lines and emails and converting them to sales. Developing new business leads and maintaining and improving existing relationships. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Answering incoming phone calls Replying to email enquiries Converting initial contacts to sales Producing/designing quotations and sending to customers Managing CRM, chasing warm leads, and following up on opportunities Providing technical advice, support and aftersales advice Identifying existing customers where there is an opportunity to increase annual spend and developing a trade relationship Driving sales hard and delivering on sales and acquisition targets Candidate As with all growing businesses the culture is entrepreneurial and fast paced. We are looking for an individual who has the appropriate skills and experience to do the job twinned with the desire and capability to grow along with the business. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a sales environment, ideally within the construction sector and would be beneficial if in heating products. You will understand the requirements of both trade and domestic customers. Our candidate will be hungry for sales, determined to succeed and not perturbed by the inevitable knock backs along the way. They will have a warm sales manner, a great product knowledge and the ability to build a relationship over the phone very quickly. A successful candidate will be IT literate and able to pick up the systems quickly and enter data accurately.
