Overview
My client is a leading Education Cateirng Specialist, working across the UK. Following a period of growth, they are looking to expand their sales team and are currently looking for an experienced Education Business Development Manager to join them. As an experienced Business Development Manager you will support the growth of the company through targeted prospecting, sales and marketing. Working closely withb all the senior emebers of the team, you will ensure proposals are achievable/deliverable, whilst growing the company's reputation and helping to improve profitability. You will manage the sales process from prospecting to lead generation, tender management and presentation to successful contract win. The Business Development Manager role is ideal for someone who has worked with/managed a dynamic sales team in the past. You will be a self-starter, focused on a personable approach by building great and long lasting relationships. You will love to challenge yourself by achieving targets. Our Ideal Candidate will have the following: 3 years experience Strong results from education sector sales, e.g. having ensured substantial growth and improved profitability Strong knowledge about service industry Ability to work successfully on your own and within a wider team Proven track record in successfully converting business solution bids to wins, through creative and innovative thinking and based on a solid analysis of customer needs Experience in “hunting” new assignments/relations/business Have a competitive nature, goal-orientated and desire to win Common commercial traits to include high work capacity, great contact and communication skills.
