Overview

Long established inbound tour operator seeks an Italian speaking Travel Trade Sales Manager to account manage clients in Spain, Italy and France and develop new sales. A varied and busy role which will involve travelling to key European cities to attend trade shows and independent sales trips, the role will include : Working with the MD to define sales goals Attend sales trips and European trade shows promoting the brand Prepare sales reports, research new clients, client analysis Account manage key clients Conduct site inspections and fam trips for overseas agents coming to the UK and Ireland Liaise with international departments including operations and finance Develop new product ideas, create and negotiate for new tour content, develop relationships with UK suppliers When busy support the operations team with quotations and occasional operational needs Italian speaking Travel Trade Sales Manager candidates should have experience of : Working with a UK inbound tour operator Fluency in Italian and English Experience of developing product ideas and experience of preparing tour quotations Be able to demonstrate account management skills and developing new sales Project management Experience of preparing sales reports Managing a small team Italian speaking Travel Trade Sales Manager candidates will earn a salary plus a generous bonus - OTE a further £ 6,000-£ 10,000.
