Mercury Talent is delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager in the Commercial vehicle/ transport market. The role will be a home based/ field position and the ideal candidate located in the Midlands. The channels you will develop and manage include commercial vehicles, passenger carrying transport , agricultural and construction. The successful candidate will have a current relationship with OEM and OES within the commercial vehicle/ transport passenger market. The products you will be selling are electronic safety, audio solutions. The role will mainly be within the UK market however you will be responsible for deploying the European business development strategy so some international travel will be required. The role of Business Development Manager Commercial Vehicle/ transport sector Targeting and selling to the OEM and OES Commercial Vehicle manufacturers requiring audio and vehicle safety systems across several transport sectors including but not limited commercial vehicle, coach and bus, agricultural and construction off hi-way Collaborating with the Head of OEM sales developing sales strategy and plans to exceed both individual and company revenue targets Business development and delivering sales monthly targets and forecast sales including the planning of delivery of product to customer requirement. Work with technical/ engineering teams to deliver tangible solutions for product specifications Collaborate with the marketing department to influence buying and product selection Responsible for pricing and sales proposals Identify new opportunities and business development within the sector as well as continually monitoring customer requirements,competition and new channels within the Commercial Vehicle OEM OES market. About you Business Development Manager Commercial Vehicle/ transport sector You will have current and existing relationships with Sales Engineers, Procurement and Stakeholders selling a product into the Commercial vehicle Transport market. OEM OES You will be a door opener, effective and resourceful You will have worked in business development in all or some of the following channels. Agricultural, Construction, Coach and Bus, Commercial Vehicle in OEM OES in both On and Off hi-way. If you have knowledge of consultative selling in Audio, Telematics.
