Overview
We are currently looking for a Business Development lead to join our growing Sales team in Aberdeen. The main focus of the role will be to target new business, build relationships and ultimately bring on new Business in the North East and whole of the UK. My Client are a Multi-National company working in the Testing and Certification sector. In addition to a competitive remuneration package the successful candidate will benefit from 5% employer pension contribution, 35 hour working week, car allowance, 33 days holiday a year and personal life assurance. Job Description • Working with the Business Development Manager to draw up an ATAC board of target Business for the North East and the UK • Engaging with target customers, seeking growth opportunities for Testing and Inspection services • Carrying out Business Development activities including; cold calls, client drops, CRM marketing and client visits • Networking at industry events, engaging with decision makers • Delivering sales growth in line with department business plan • Continual research and development of personal knowledge on service range to increase confidence and credibility when liaising Person Specification • Proficient in computer programs such as MS Office • Flexible approach to working hours as some travel may be necessary in this role • Customer orientated with an aptitude for sales and customer service • Demonstrable commercial and financial awareness • Results driven to focus contribution on activities which meet company goals & deliver the greatest value to clients • Ability to critique and improve activities through continuous improvement & innovation • Self starter who has a hunger to build relationships and grow sales for the department • Full UK Driving Licence
