An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Manager to join the Marketing team, based in their West London office. About the role: As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will have full ownership of the email marketing programs (both B2C and B2B audiences), be responsible for creating marketing content and writing creative copy, for both online and offline channels.  Your role is to deliver effective messaging that helps to drive existing customer retention, as well as new customer acquisition. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work with the whole marketing team to agree campaigns and build the marketing and promotions calendar, and cross-functionally with Trade, Customer Service and Design teams, translators and external agencies.  What you'll do: Email/CRM marketing Develop and execute the email/CRM strategies into various email campaigns (promotional, transactional, lifecycle) to drive growth across B2C and B2B customers Plan and schedule email campaigns to support overall marketing activity Write creative email copy, adapted to each audience (B2C and B2B) in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice Manage the email campaign creation process (from designer and translators briefing, segmentation, A/B tests to testing, approval and launch) Own email KPIs, including deliverability, open rate, click rate, conversion rate, opt-out rate, revenue, as well as specific business goals around individual campaigns Analyse and interpret campaign results, provide clear reports with actionable insights and optimisations Identify opportunities to grow our mailing lists and drive their implementation Champion GDPR and good data management within the business Assist Customer Services team to troubleshoot email related issues Website and brand content  Develop onsite content and keep it fresh and relevant across our websites, consistently keeping to our brand voice and personality Brief a team of translators for localised content Write and/or proofread brand copy for marketing channels (such as homepage, category page, product description, SEO and PPC copy, merchandising materials, product packaging, advertising, etc.) PR, Comms and Social In collaboration with our PR agency, monitor media coverage and report to the Team Provide product pictures and timelines for products releases to PR agency Send PR packages to journalists Write press releases, feature articles for trade publications as and when needed Maintain company profiles on trade fair websites Attending to key industry events, trade and consumer shows when necessary Manage the company’s trade Twitter account and Linkedin page Engage with other brands to create partnerships and coordinate campaigns Advertising and marketing materials  Assist the Head of Marketing to buy relevant advertising placements Craft compelling copy for various marketing materials Manage the artwork production process (from designer briefing, feedback and changes implementation, approval to price negotiation with printers and delivery) You have/are: Essential Excellent English copywriting skills, able to write grabbing-attention headlines and creative copy Excellent proofreader Strong experience in writing brief for creative, media partners In-depth experience in email marketing (including email copywriting, segmentation, multivariate testing, and post-campaign analysis) and ESPs/CRM systems (we use Mailchimp) Hands-on experience in Content Management System Working knowledge of principles of digital copywriting, SEO, keyword research  Good eye for graphic design and layout (Adobe Photoshop skills are desirable, but not essential) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite (docs, sheets, slides, etc.) Hands-on experience in analytics tools (we use Google Analytics) Ability to analyse data and optimise the performance of campaigns Desirable Basic knowledge of HTML and design tools, such as Photoshop Experience in developing and executing CRM programs from scratch Experience in managing loyalty programs would be an advantage, but not a must-have Your profile: 3 years experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing or Communication Creative spirit with high commercial awareness - you are able to come up with creative campaigns ideas, execute them, and track their commercial success  Super organised project manager, able to manage a varied workload, several third-parties, and meet deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Great interpersonal skills and team mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of colleagues and third-parties Experienced in B2C and/or B2B communications, you understand the differences, their overlap and how they complement each other Proactive with a can-do attitude and willingness to go that extra mile What we offer: Permanent full-time role, working from 9am to 5pm Competitive salary (depending on experience) Annual bonus (based on performance) Generous staff discount on products Pension contribution If you are passionate about marketing and communications in general, and especially email marketing, this is the ideal role for you.
