Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel Sector, UK Home working, up to £40k plus attractive commission Our client is an award winning Business Travel Management Agency that is well positioned for future growth, and to assist in this development over the next few years they are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager that has worked in the Business Travel Sector to take the initiative in developing new corporate clients. The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are: Working with the Sales Director you will be attained with achieving new business through various sales channels You will act on leads, attend networking events, promoting the business through marketing channels, encourage recommendations and cold calling You will identify appropriate companies that fit the ethos of the travel company Present to Travel Managers, Procurement, FD's, PA's or other senior executives that manage the Travel for their clients Put together and present an engaging product, bespoke for each individual client which will benefit the client by saving them money and time in their Travel preparations Respond to RFP's The skills required for the Business Development Manager are as follows: Must have previous experience of working in the Business Travel Management Sector selling to Corporates Able to demonstrate account wins and exceeding targets Understands the complexities of the Travel Market in which you are selling and has strong market awareness of the competition and all the technology tools Commercial acumen with excellent English language and literature skills Desire to succeed and exceed KPI targets In return you will be rewarded with a good basic salary, and excellent commission and benefits.
