My Clients is a privately owned, forward thinking and energetic B2B media company that operates out of offices in south-east London. The business produces a number of high level products that include prestigious awards programmes, conferences, networking events, and magazine content on and offline, to niche sectors in the IT space. Having strong relationships with customers that include Lloyds, Ericsson, SEGA, William Hill, Microsoft, TATA, McDonalds, IBM, Deloitte, and Micro Focus, therefore it is no surprise that 31 Media is a leader in its market. Located in the busy New Cross area, my client's office is easily accessible via over-ground, underground (Elephant & Castle) and numerous bus links. Our outgoing staff is made up of talented, diverse individuals, speaking many different languages from Bulgarian to French Due to expansion an opportunity has opened for an Events Sales Executive to work on a group of market leading and highly respected products. The role will see you selling conference tickets, awards entries, and and wider commercial opportunities to senior IT professionals an array of household names both at home and abroad, this is a challenging yet rewarding role, and would suit a 'company thinker, with a can do attitude. Key tasks of the events sales executive are: Generating entries and table sales for a UK based awards programme Selling delegate tickets to a diverse crowd Selling delegate space at high level round table forum event Demonstrating the value of all products within the business Identifying new areas for growth Consistently over achieving targets Maintaining accurate research and sales records Key skills and attributes of the events sales executive are: Ideally 2-3 years experience in a similar environment Talented, ambitious, hungry, and determined Good presentation skills both written and oral Being able to speak to professionals at all levels My client are moving forward and their product offering is growing, so for any individual that wants to benefit from a dynamic and focused environment, while adding to their skill set and climbing the professional ladder, this position would be right for you.
