Our modern, professionally designed centres combine great tutors with the latest in education technology. We are now looking for a Lead Tutor to join the team and to help agree, devise and deliver tuition sessions for club members in our flagship centre in North Finchley. About the role This role is to assist the Club Manager with the smooth and effective operation of our North Finchley Centre. You’ll ensure that quality tuition and a high standard of customer service are provided, which result in the growth of the Club and secure its place as the first choice for tuition with clients, potential clients and schools in the area of operation. In addition, you will also assist the Club Manager in lead generation and supporting other Tutors. Key Responsibilities The Lead Tutor will be responsible for: Tutoring – along with all team members, the Lead Tutor will play an active role in the delivery of tuition through a blend of technology-based learning and tutor/pupil interactions; Membership Generation – through various marketing, sales and PR activities, a significant part of your role will be to raise local awareness of the North Finchley inTuition Club in order to gain new members; Club Performance – you will attract new clients and client conversion through sales activities; Customer Service and Quality – you will ensure that our standards for quality and customer service are maintained, including identifying, evaluating and making recommendations for changes to improve the club, as appropriate. Skills and Qualifications The successful applicant will: Have an undergraduate degree with strong GCSEs in English and Maths Be a great ambassador for the Club with exceptional customer service skills Have a real passion for learning Be a team player who can organise, manage, take direction and prioritise Be a confident, persuasive ambassador for the Club and be able to generate new memberships from sales and marketing activities and renew memberships with existing clients; Experience in a call centre, sales generation, business to business or business to customer, or in a cold sales environment is essential. Recent experience of working in an education setting, and ideally with primary aged children, would be beneficial but not essential. Hours of work This role is offered on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) and the successful applicant will work 10:30hrs to 18:30hrs each day, 5 days per week. Some flexibility on this may be possible.
