The role is for an Internal Business Development Manager. Their core lending is in the following areas: Bridging for Residential and Commercial property Developer Exit loans Residential Refurbishment Ex-pat Non-traditional Buy To Let products About the Internal Business Development Manager role The role reports into the Head of Internal Sales and works closely with an External Business Development Manager (EBDM). The role is to support the EBDM by managing deals and broker relationships from the office. The role requires an individual with strong administration and interpersonal skills, who is driven and has a detail focus. Experience in financial services is a requirement. RESPONSIBILITIES for the Internal Business Development Manager Deal Specific: Handling inbound enquiries - assess enquiries against lending appetite Producing and following up on Approval In Principles Progressing deals through the credit process Liaising with valuers and solicitors Managing the deal pipeline Pipeline Management: Primary contact for brokers Sourcing and engaging with new brokers Keeping data up to date on internal system Outline of skills and experience required for the Internal Business Developement Manager At least 3 years working in financial services in a sales focused capacity.
