Sales / Business Development Consultant Manchester £40,000 Base OTE (Approx £8k - £10k) Company Profile: My client are a specialist within software sector, with a focus on Independent retailers including the Equestrian, Lifestyle and Outdoor sectors. My client work closely with retailers, manufacturers and suppliers. They offer a cloud based stock control and Epos system which in-turn integrates with a responsive ecommerce platform, Click & Collect function, Supplier integration, and Service Centre Management, Customer Rewards Engine and Business Intelligence & Reporting tools. Alongside the software products, my client also offer Digital Marketing Services such as managed Google Shopping Campaigns, Email Newsletters, Email Automations and On-going Design Services delivered by their very own design team based in the Manchester Offices. Purpose and key objectives The successful candidate will work within a Sales Team that’s responsible for successfully selling Cloud POS and E-Commerce Licenses to a target business audience. The target for Cloud POS being 6 per Month. Key responsibilities As part of the role, you will be expected to secure new clients through the sales process including making outbound calls to targeted businesses selling the company Cloud POS and Ecommerce software licenses. Strive to exceed the agreed Cloud POS license target each month. Respond to incoming sales enquiries positively and effectively. Generate your own sales opportunities by identifying new target businesses, fact finding and identifying the key requirements and objectives of new prospects. Present the company solutions to meet prospect requirements & objectives in various mediums including telephone, email and face to face. Write high quality proposals and follow-up with regular pro-active chasing and progression updates. Close deals, processing all orders in strict accordance with official processes, ensuring maximum revenue is captured and the process is followed correctly. Update and maintain accurate CRM information to ensure strong handover to delivery teams and Client and Prospects data is up-to-date and complete at all times. Attend trade shows, networking meetings and client meetings to raise awareness of products maximising opportunities to build relationships and increase sales. Prepare and present appropriate sales reports as and when required. Work with your Line Manager to take responsibility for your own continued personal and professional development ensuring your knowledge and skills remain up-to-date and you share best practice with colleagues Ensure a safe working environment and excellent housekeeping standards.
