Overview
We’re currently looking for a Business Development Director to join the Digital Marketplaces Specialist sales Team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with highly consultative sales skills to lead our client engagements at the very forefront of the revolution in how businesses help consumers identify the best credit products available to them. Our Digital Sales Specialist Team is an exciting place to be - we bring together the best of Experian and our FinTech acquisitions HD Decisions, Runpath and Castlight to develop truly innovative solutions to help our clients The role You’ll be play a leading role in our Digital Sales Team and make a significant contribution to our success. You will engage with both existing and potential customers, consult with them to identify and understand the implications and opportunities Digital Marketplaces represents and identify and articulate how Experian’s capabilities can be orchestrated to support the achievement of their objectives. You’ll be responsible for: Identifying opportunities to help both potential and existing clients achieve their objectives utilising our capabilities. Achieving client engagement and financial targets Developing a deep understanding of the marketplace, client requirements and emerging capabilities to become a subject matter expert Contributing this knowledge to shape our Digital strategy Effectively managing stakeholder relationships across the business (typically our product owners, sales colleagues and executive sponsors) with excellent communication Could this role be for you? We’re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for identifying innovative solutions to problems old and new. Someone who is target driven, always inquisitive and has the commercial acumen to connect the emerging capabilities from our FinTech businesses, such as Credit Product data, Eligibility and affordability with solutions to our client’s business problems. An individual who can swiftly learn to become recognised universally as a subject matter expert in our field. You’ll have significant experience/knowledge of strategic selling of data and consulting services and you will be well practised in developing and executing against sales plans. You’ll succeed in this role by effectively engaging the right stakeholders in our clients, the industry and internally.
