Overview
The role of the Property Manager is to service the current client base in your region, by providing excellent customer service. The successful Property Manager will be joining a well respected independent Estate Agent with several offices across Essex. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND DAILY DUTIES Establish professional relationships with current and new clients Providing regular feedback to clients. Facilitate deposit return at end of tenancy Process all maintenance invoices in a timely fashion. Record and process work orders/repairs Work closely with inspections clerks regarding routines and checkouts Assist with the occasional hand over of move-in process for new tenants Organise renewal of gas safety and EICR certificates Organise renewal of EPC as Occasionally accompanying colleagues to out of hour’s company promotional events Record meter readings Locate and appoint new contractors to ensure maintenance needs can be achieved Carry out duties in accordance with department KPI’s Work closely with credit controller dealing with rent arrears Attend department morning meetings and occasional meetings with lettings teams Work closely with the lettings team to ensure properties are ready for occupation Secure detailed quotes and explain contents to landlords KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL BASE REQUIRED Ideally 1 years’ experience as a property manager Have a full understanding of FFHH, HHSRS regulations and Sec 11 of Landlord & Tenant Act Strong customer service skills Smart and presentable Excellent time management Ability to work well under pressure and problem solve Full clean driving license SALARY £20,000 PA (depending on experience) £21,500 OTE HOURS Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30 pm Q Recruitment specialises in property and financial recruitment across the UK.
