Overview
Property Claims Handler Colchester Up to £28,000 Job Purpose The successful candidate will handle their own portfolio of Property claims on behalf of various clients from cradle to grave, providing a high quality claims service at all times. Responsibilities Establish if cover is in place for the claim. Record all claims on the digital claims handling system. Investigate all Property claims, either from your desktop or by instructing Loss Adjusters. Make decisions on liability and negotiate settlement of claims. Ensure compliance with all legal timescales and client SLAs. Build relationships with external clients and stakeholders. Requirements Candidates must have previous experience handling any type of Property claims, within a law firm, insurer or loss adjuster. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience of policy wordings and terms & conditions.
