A champion of tech for good, the platform is actively integrated into university student retention strategies, with a focus on widening participation students including: first-in-family, care leavers, single parents and students with disabilities. About the Role You will become our first inbound content marketer - to help with the majority of the marketing funnel for our company. You will be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to close into customers, the latter of which sales leadership will help you accomplish.  You will have a lot of ownership over our company blog, newsletters, infographics and white papers. As we are an education company working with universities, higher education sector experience would be beneficial.    The Must-Haves You have self-drive and motivation in spades, believe in the transformative power of education and - of course - be comfortable in a fast moving, dynamic startup environment The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, customers, partners and investors is a must You measure yourself by the impact you’ve made and the metrics you’ve moved Your Skills  Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content. Ability to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics based on data. Can build and manage a rich content/ editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience  Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels A passion and strong understanding of the industry and our business' mission. Previous experience within the sector would be beneficial.
