Job Profile Summary To be a point of contact for our retail customers across the London Portfolio. To understand retail performance, to make recommendations, when appropriate to improve performance. To analyse sales data and support the communication to the appropriate stakeholders. To work with the London Retail Team to explore opportunities for sales growth and to drive the accurate and timely submission of information on sales and related retail information. To support the constant improvement in Retail and general standards working in collaboration with Retail Operations Manager in addition to the property’s Operations Teams. Principle Accountabilities Assist in determining opportunities to drive revenue and profit, develop road map documents for agreed priority retailers delivering high value income growth for Landsec. Develop and use retail knowledge and experience to improve retail trading performance. Share best practice amongst retailers and maintain high retail standards. Collate and analyse weekly occupier sales data, communicating areas of growth and risk to all stakeholders with a particular focus on working collaboratively with the Property Portfolio Team as required in respect of leasing queries and the provision of relevant trading information. Collate, analyse and review all available data to help understand the retail, leisure and managed operation/s. To develop and support the communication of a London wide knowledge of commercial information that should include occupancy costs, footfall and trend information. Maximise the usage of all data including Retail Advantage, CACI, footfall, dwell time, average spend, catchments, customer profile. Have a strong understanding of property performance. Undertake regular occupier visits to maintain positive working relationships, gain constructive feedback and understanding and to provide support and assistance. Communicate with retailers on a regular basis on operational issues including formal meetings, establishing effective working relationships to support the Retail Operations Manager (ROM). Assist ROM and Technical Manager (TM) in delivering retailer compliance with regulations and lease covenants, as well as other compliance issues. Coordinate and respond to retailer enquires including operational issues, shop refreshes and performance issues. Work collaboratively with the estate team to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. Maintain an up-to-date list of store managers, area managers and head office contacts and develop strong links with these groups. Be aware of retailer events and their impact on the property and ensure that these are well managed with communication to support the commercial objectives of the customer. Engage retail brand customers to participate in any sales growth opportunities such as events, promotions and marketing activities in line with the centre’s marketing campaign. Facilitate occupier meetings and forums, assisting with their planning and delivery, arranging guest speakers and promoting store manager attendance. Work in collaboration with the Retail Team to drive retail awareness to promote our occupiers and drive sales. Liaise with the retail operators, to ensure the highest standards of presentation and service. Support the retailing team in the delivering of their strategy for the London Retail. To work closely with the London Retail Marketing Team in the delivery of related activity and the promulgation of respective information.
