Account Manager Northampton Permanent Hours 9-5.30 Monday to Friday £26,000 plus commission Are you a natural sales person looking for an account management role, that isn't just based in the office? Are you a people person that loves to develop your own customers? If this sounds like you, I have the perfect opportunity for you This role offers an excellent opportunity for you to join a company that is forward thinking and focused on its people. As Account Manager for this well-known brand, your clients will be based in Northamptonshire and surrounding counties and you will be responsible for retaining and growing their spend on office supplies. Initially you will be office based, with the potential to visit key clients in the near future. Duties and responsibilities for the Account Manager role include: Identify and build relationships with key contacts Diarising calls to customers to ensure an increase in orders Pro-actively developing relationships with your accounts in a dedicated customer base to grow sales, gross margin and to achieve budget and sales targets. Produce & progress quotations with customers Processing customer orders ensuring all pricing and delivery details are entered onto the CRM Managing customer orders, ensuring lead times are met Skills and experience required for the Account Manager role: Previous experience of proactive and reactive selling Proven experience of providing excellent customer service Strong organisational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Numerate Quick to learn All responses will be managed in line with the new GDPR regulations.
