Overview
An experienced Accounts/Office Manager is required to join our client’s SME business. This role offers a wide variety of tasks covering all aspects of accounts for the business, office administrative duties and support to the Directors. Specific finance functions include : Preparation of accounts to trial balance. Month end - including reporting. VAT returns. Purchase and sales ledgers. Bank reconciliations. Credit control. Assisting the auditor at year end. Office functions include: Keeping and updating all company insurance policies including company vehicles. Maintaining and ordering stationary and office supplies. Producing sales quotations supplied by the sales team. Answering the telephone and directing calls accordingly. Maintaining the company CRM system and Job Book. You should have excellent accountancy skills, have previous experience of using Sage and have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or a part qualified Accountant but QBE will be considered also. This is a standalone position so you must be happy to work autonomously.
