Role You will be joining a new team with a focus on developing a pipeline of business for the company’s property partners (Agents, Project Managers, Surveyors etc). Through research and, mostly, through outbound calls, you will find undiscovered nuggets of information about forthcoming commercial property projects. Once you identify that a potential client might be moving office, you will clarify the information to ensure that the next steps are qualified well. You can then either pass on the information to the right people or, when possible, book next steps for all parties and get meetings straight into the diary. Simply summarised, make calls to target companies to find out their property plans and, if moving soon, get as much information as possible and book next steps. This is a fantastic new opportunity with a proven market leader. If you can sell, they can teach you the market. Person The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you? Knowledge: 1-2 years’ telemarketing or telesales experience, preferably making cold calls to businesses; an understanding of or interest in commercial property would be helpful but not essential. Attitude: A worker, you’ll be out of bed early and ready for action without being asked.Upbeat every day (not just when the sun is shining), hard-working and focused, you understand the direct link between hard work and success. Skills: Proven telesales and telemarketing skills, particularly when cold-calling people; credible and authoritative over the phone; confident and composed when dealing with senior decision makers; range of skills to overcome objections and close calls successfully. Habits: Well-organised, punctual, professional and proactive. Package On offer is a salary of £21,000pa with on target earnings of £35,000pa in your first year. Top performers within our client’s strike calling team earn £100k a year so there’s money to be made here for top people.
