As part of their spectacular success and recent growth there is now an opportunity for an experienced customer focused Technical Sales Executive or Business Development Manager with a strong solutions-based technical sales background to join their successful team. This role will provide consultative sales advisory and solutions focussed expertise to new and existing clients as well as offering support to the new business sales team by identifying the clients’ requirements and designing a commercially viable solution from within their SaaS offering. Proven track record in a commercial sales environment within an IT/software solutions business Strong sales, commercial and account management experience New business sales experience - sourcing and lead generation expertise Full Driving licence is a must Ideal candidate will be commercially focused, well organised, pro-active, creative, a good communicator at all levels and results driven Customer focused relationship management experience is essential Creative, driven and ambitious, with strong project management and customer partnering skills Highly organised to ensure the ability to manage multiple customers at any one point in time An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people in a way that is easy to understand Self motivated, ability to work independently and to be proactive Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail Process improvement mindset with the ability to see the changes required for the customer drawing on previous experience Experience of working with warehouse/distribution/transport software What will you do? Developing new business relationships and maximising offering to both SME and Corporate client base Providing subject matter expertise (SME) and technical sales support to the sales team and customers Developing and maintaining an expert level knowledge of SaaS offering Preparing and presenting the commercial proposal to closure Document the customers current process and proposed process by identifying the key features and benefits in order to sell the value proposition to the customer Work closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches, supporting specifically around product suitability and delivery expectations. Articulate (both orally and in writing) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers Ensure the solution can deliver the customers’ requirements Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies Identify any work needed to install the product and discuss training requirements with customer Supervise installation and troubleshoot any initial operating problems Liaise with customers to obtain feedback on product performance and organise any necessary modifications Deal with customers technical queries and monitor support requests to ensure that the products meeting requirements.
