Overview

Role: Sales Executive (retail energy) Location: Manchester Salary: £27k DOE £3k bonus commission Role Purpose: Do you have previous experience with out-bound B2B sales experience within the energy / utilities industry? A leading energy consultancy are looking for a Sales Executive to sell both energy procurement as well as a range of energy management products and services. The Sales Executive will therefore look for new as well as cross-selling opportunities to underpin organic growth. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and that prospective customers are engaged and informed at all times. You will build genuine relationships, acting with integrity at all times. We are looking for someone with strong sales capabilities, a strategic thinker with commercial awareness who can operate independently as a subject matter expert, yet who interacts with colleagues on all levels to translate business objectives into success. Job Responsibilities: Identify, develop and close New Business opportunities, in line with set targets Define a plan to structure activity; milestones, deliverables, and review progress at all stages Manage pipeline ensuring accuracy of information and correct reporting of opportunities Support the external sales team with lead generation and sales support Work with the Marketing function to design and implement strategic sales campaigns Work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to ensure cohesive initiatives Foster a culture of building long term and genuine relationships with customers Aim to delight customers and champion initiatives to enhance the service or product offering Visit customers where necessary Experience Required: Sales experience and commercial awareness, able to deliver results and KPIs Excellent telephone manner and customer service experience Must be good at building and maintaining strong professional relationships Ability to use data analysis to inform prospecting, territory planning and decision-making Successful sales cycle management experience Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, PowerBI Full UK driving license
