PURPOSE OF JOB: To achieve targeted levels of sales for Venue Reservations Main Duties and Tasks Employ sales skills to account manager, increase the conversion of incoming enquiries & number of enquiries into Venue Reservations Use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the phone and face to face at meetings and site visits to convert the enquiries generated or reactively received Increase the level of sales and business mix direct from individual clients and via third party bookers/agencies and making the most of potential business for the whole of the Crown Partnership Maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries employing sales skills to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients. Maintain an accurate and current database. (Using Crown Connector) Identify and develop sources of potential business. Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication. Develop and maintain relationships which benefit both client and Venue Reservations / Crown Partnership. Advise Head of VR, Business Development Director, Development Director and Managing Director of client feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as companies performance. Maintain an effective chase and tracking system for enquiries to confirmation or release stage. Evaluate and grade enquiries for profitability/suitability. Effectively communicate with Key Clients via telephone, face to face and written communication to identify full potential for, and to gain maximum commitment to purchase Venue Reservations / Crown Partnership products Attend client and Venue Reservations / Crown Partnership events where required to promote Venue Reservations and Partnership products and provide full report post event Liaise with other members of the Venue Reservations / Crown Partnership sales teams to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism. Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant Venue Reservations / Crown Partnership benefits. Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities. Handle correspondence related to all selling activities.
