Overview City Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Permanent Sales Manager based in the North Region - Out on the road/Client facing role Your New Role Basic Salary Uncapped Commission Bonus Scheme An independent established and expanding furniture/Sofa wholesale business is looking to recruit an adaptable Sales Consultant/Sales Team Leader/Sales Manager that is comfortable working within a challenging and multitask environment. You will be responsible for maximising sales to independant retailers, driving improved standards and ensuring the delivery of the organisation’s brand values to every customer. You will be ambitious, tenacious and passionate about retail sales and take full responsibility for the results in their store. Your main duties will include finding and winning new business. This role will include travelling out to different customers and sites, promoting business and services and will involve dealing with all customer groups in a strategic fashion with new business being the main function. This opportunity will give the successful candidate an exceptional platform to create and build their own destiny with the full backup and support of everyone within the business. You will be working as part of a team to develop a sales and market share in the commercial segment. You will also be principally responsible for the development of projects, relationships and sales in the commercial segment of the business. To be considered for the role You will have direct sales experience from working within retail or similar background. You will be passionate about driving sales and delivering the best possible customer service. As a Sales Manager you will be process driven and compliant and be able to instil retail disciplines. You will be resilient, passionate, enthusiastic and commercial, with a "will to win" attitude. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can work well on their own. Ability to manage own area; introduce tailored customer solutions to drive sales forward and be new business focused with the ability to grow, nurture and develop long established key accounts. Preferred A driving license and own car is preferable as well as experience in retail/similar customer centric role would be advantageous. Company car may be on offer for a candidate who has a Valid UK Driving license but no access to a car. A background in 'Sofa Sales' is highly advantageous.
