A great opportunity has arisen for a someone to join the back office support team of an outstanding travel company Operations Executive Job Description Checking the contents of ticket wallets before despatch to clients, ensuring that every detail is correct Checking that all communication to hotels and ground agents is complete and accurate Ensuring airline tickets have been issued and correspond to the booking details Checking that all necessary confirmations have been received and entering confirmation notes in the booking history as needed Liaising with hotel reservations/agents to request confirmations if necessary Deciding which method of postal service should be used to despatch documentation Emailing travel documents when required Liaising with the Reservations Team on errors and queries arising from the checking procedure Maintaining excellent product and sales knowledge Operations Executive Secondary Responsibilities Assisting with invoice checking during staff holidays/shortages and peak periods Ad hoc administration and sales tasks as required Operations Executive Skills Required Knowledge/Skills required Precision and attention to detail Excellent and thorough product knowledge Experience of a GDS essential or Elgar
