Overview

Head of Real Estate Location: Central London Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Bonus A market leading retailer with a global footprint has an opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute professional to lead their real estate strategy across the UK. You will be responsible for all aspects of strategic real estate planning and transactions including the implementation of real estate policies and procedures, developing a long-term strategy to maximize the company’s real estate assets in the UK and enhance the retail real estate portfolio through identifying property opportunities, lease negotiations to deal completion. Applicants should meet the following criteria: A track record operating in the retail real estate market. F&B experience in particular is required. Experience handling lease negotiation, acquisitions, disposing of real estate in the retail sector Knowledge of the UK real estate/property market with a specific understanding of retail properties Skilled at selecting commercially viable retail properties Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and work at all levels. Strong strategic business and commercial planning Responsibilities will include: You will work collaboratively with regional teams to develop strategic portfolio plans to enhance real estate assets Manage the negotiation of lease agreements, working closely with partners to ensure strategically located, and competitively priced locations for retail stores Review project plans for the property’s strategy including lease renewals, co-locations, expansions and disposals Work collaboratively with facilities leaders to ensure first class project execution Highlight and track trends in the retail real estate market Manage the financial planning, reporting, and budgeting on the UK Real Estate portfolio (transactions & real estate projects) Provide a regular UK portfolio update to key stakeholders and partners. Partner with the commercial team to understand needs and provide data on real estate costs as deals are being negotiated
