Role Overview Drive sustained and profitable growth from an assigned business activity by establishing and maintaining long-term contractual relationships with clients. The role will have P&L, people, client and delivery accountability and you will be expected to drive through offshore delivery as appropriate. Business development activities will be focused on assigned clients or groups of clients. The successful individual will be accountable for influencing, managing and driving the strategy of a defined area of the business within Sopra Steria. A solid business understanding regarding the needs of customers and how the 'market’ is responding, changing and developing in their field of expertise. With a clear accountability for developing and implementing functional policies and procedures Key responsibilities: Participate in the overall management of the country or sector or profit centre Working cooperatively with peers and colleagues to ensure overall success. Deliver the financial and customer satisfaction goals Implement customer management, service and sales plans Build and motivate a team of high performing people Keep abreast of trends in an assigned market Oversee financial and quality control processes to ensure customer engagement Essential skills: Solid experience in general business management and a demonstrated track record in growing and developing profitable business results. Demonstrated experience of influencing sales strategies Track record of leading and working within complex networks of sales and business development staff. Government sector industry experience
