Overview
Benefit Cosmetics UK - Regional Boutique Manager SUMMARY · To develop the strategy for Boutiques · To maximise all retail opportunities and treatments · To ensure the operating profit is achieved. · To ensure that the Boutique operation is legal compliant MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Sales · To continually focus on driving the retail sales & services in UK · Discuss and agree monthly sales targets with SDM Boutiques / Boutique Managers. Monitor and analyse weekly / monthly / quarterly sales to ensure actual in line with forecasts · Ensure the Benefit "Magic Formula" is being followed and split of sales is within the Benefit guidelines · Analyse new product sales ensuring all opportunities are being maximised PR · Work with Marketing Manager and Head of PR to develop Boutique Marketing / PR strategy Recruitment · To be involved in the recruitment process for all Boutique Managers · To monitor and analyse the effectiveness of all recruitment in line with stability figures, LTO and training figures · To monitor vacancies in line with company objectives Development / Training · To identify all direct reports and Boutique Managers training needs and ensure that these needs are addressed · Ensure all direct reports and Boutique Managers have monthly JSF’s and meet objectives or relevant action plans set up. · Work with the Head of Training to ensure that all training needs are identified and addressed Forecasting / Budgets · Produce the Annual budget & the 2 following revisions in liaison with Finance Director and MD · Produce Quarterly forecast based on actuals and forecast sales/costs · Produce Monthly sales forecasts updating with proposed new Boutiques and new products · To ensure that all retail expenditure is in line with budget · To liaise with Operations to ensure that stock forecasting is accurate Communication · Hold quarterly meetings with Managers to ensure that all new processes are implemented and best practice is being followed. Skills / Abilities · At least 10 years commercial retail experience · Cosmetic / Special Treatments or Stand Alone Boutique experience · Excellent Commercial Awareness & Business Acumen · Marketing / PR Knowledge · IT Skills - Excel Intermediate · Works well under pressure and to deadlines · Excellent Communication Skills · Strong Problem Solving / Analytical Skills · Good attention to detail · Good Planning & Organisation skills · Strong Negotiation and Influencing skills
