Overview
Job Summary The purpose of this role is to promote and develop new business opportunities for my client through the service of Government and Privately Funded opportunities including Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Adult Unemployed within the Barbering, Hairdressing and Beauty sector in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. They will work to achieve and exceed new business targets ensuring that all customers are account managed for retention of business. Responsibilities and Duties Proactively develop activity to target new business and develop relationships that increase the take up of programmes Optimise lead generation by various media networking sources to gain information for cold calling opportunities then in turn generation of appointments for sign ups. To recruit individuals on timetabled courses using an array of recruitment methods Complete paperwork for planning purposes of Journey Planner / Forecast to senior management Territory management of set given work area and ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised to achieve set agreed targets Develop a pipeline of business that meets the business plan targets, by developing and implementing a strategy for gaining new business Develop and implement campaigns for a given sector that produce leads and create the opportunity to promote services to employers. Conduct face-to-face / telephone meetings at all levels with clients with the objective of selling and agreeing product usage Ensure that employers agree contracts for the delivery of our services and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed with attention to detail and accurate Ensure that product knowledge is always up to date with current market trend to ensure we are effectively communicating correct information to our clients Work closely with team members internally to map peaks and trends within the business ensuring that sales activity is mapped and tracked to maximise opportunities Attend networking events to create product interest and stimulate sales meetings with employer. Clearly document and capture all customer details and requirements on paper and on Internal database as required Account manage existing clients and create a portfolio of employer customers within your sector for future business and repeat signs up upon completion of existing course Develop and build relationships with clients to encourage them to use our services to obtain market share away from our competitors. Diagnose their needs and create action plans and journey plans for future business. Presenting a bespoke plan to the employer to ensure we secure the sale and securing commitment to proceed. Create the necessary paperwork and system records and ensure that all paperwork is audit compliant at all times To attend meetings/events To clearly capture /document and record all customer contacts made within the Internal system Daily reporting to be sent to various departments at agreed deadlines To gain an in-depth understanding of all systems available and data input as required Contribute to the development of new services to meet the needs of local employers Qualifications and Skills Sales skills, the ability to develop interest in the product and take it through the sales cycle Proactive style with strong closing/negotiation skills Analytical skills/ Innovative/ Open Self Starter Ability to sell in products and services and achieve sales objectives Sales and Account management skills Presentation skills both written and oral Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, Spreadsheets, diary management, and e-mail.
