Company Profile OSE European are a busy transport & logistics company based in Gateshead, established in 2001, specialising in time sensitive transport to the UK and Europe. OSE European is looking to expand, within specific market sectors and are looking to recruit a driven business development executive to match the company’s ambitions. Role Description The role of Business Development Executive will be a key role within a small dedicated sales team that will primarily target specific market or geographical sectors in order to identify sales opportunities for the transport and logistics business. The new Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating sales from new / lapsed customers via phone and face to face meetings. The Business Development Executive will also become the Key Account Manager for a number of specific targeted customers, which will also serve to supplement their training and understanding of the company and its processes. Desired Skills This is primarily a sales role, so the individual must be confident in contacting new contacts, in order to secure new business. Previous work within logistics is preferred but not required. Requirements:- ? Self-motivated as well as a team player ? Able to engage with new suppliers and build strong, commercial relationships across a range of organisations/contact levels ? Ability to plan and prioritise own workload within a fast paced office environment ? Strong analytical, commercial negotiation and influencing skills. Benefits ? Salary £22,000 per annum ?
