Retail Real Estate Manager - Europe, £80,000 - £120,000, Premium Retail Brand, Immediate Start Our client, a premium retail brand with a huge global presence, are looking to recruit an experienced, connected Real Estate Manager to oversee/expand their European retail portfolio. A travelling role, our client are looking for someone with a base close to their London HQ, with the ability/scope to travel across Europe 2-3 days a week. Our client offer premium brand clothing and accessories, and are incredibly established around the world - with over 2,000 stores globally (600 in Europe), they are incredibly well-known. Due to their wish to progressively expand their business over the next few years, they are now actively seeking the right candidate to lead their European Retail Real Estate operation. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the brand by providing transparency and market intelligence about the existing store portfolio and external retail property insight Establishing and maintaining a key account relationship with major accounts Providing guidelines, tools and standards as to the lease and rent negotiation and implementing them in the Distribution and Real Estate community Managing the company's real estate portfolio and continuously determining together with the brands the most adequate and strongest store and property portfolio Supporting the markets in creating and implementing a long-term distribution master plan Fostering cross-cultural and cross-team cooperation to ensure an aligned brand experience for our customers in every retail location and guarantee on-time implementation and roll-out of new stores Developing and maintaining strong strategic alliances and networks with external business partners to successfully gain and utilise external data to enable the company to take the right decisions Identifying and negotiating strategic real estate deals and framework agreements to expand the brand's distribution in line with the long-term retail real estate expansion strategy Coordinating all legal documents agreements to support the store portfolio and expansion strategy by strongly communicating and interacting with the company's legal department and the lease administration In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following: Degree-educated (or equivalent) in a relevant field (preferably Business Economics or Real Estate) Extensive experience in a similar Real Estate Management capacity Fluent in English and at least one other major European language Proven track record in Retail Real Estate High level of sensitivity for brand management and aesthetics for global consumer brands Strong consumer orientation Good business acumen with solid process reliability and cost sensitivity Excellent negotiating and networking skills, combined with good coordinating, challenging and persuading skills to ensure best results Strong lateral leadership qualities and management skills Willingness to travel frequently Ability to work under pressure Our client are looking to move incredibly quickly on this position, so any interested candidates are urged to apply at their earliest convenience Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
