Merchandising Forecast Analyst £25,000 - £29,000 Banbury My client is a leading online luxury retailer and they are looking for an eCommerce Merchandising Forecast Analyst to join their eCommerce team, As one of our forecast analysts, you will be assisting the Merchandiser and the wider senior team to drive profit for the business whilst thinking commercially and innovatively. As Merchandising Forecast Analyst your responsibilities will include: Plan & Forecast sales and stock level’s accordingly to achieve sales plans for the season Monitor the department performance and identify opportunities and highlight any potential risk Oversee your department stock levels and general performance by Store type Participate in weekly trade meetings with Managers & Directors Making suggestions for promotions and markdown’s Work closely with Design, Marketing, E-commerce and Purchasing counterparts to successfully range plan for your department Responsible for the smooth-running day to day of your Merchandising department, contribute through detailed analysis i.e.: Best sellers, Slow sellers Contribute to the growth of the department - making suggestions to processes and any improvements to IT systems As Merchandising Forecast Analyst you will need the following skills/experience: Previous exposure to performing in a fast-paced working environment Excellent system skills, Microsoft excel are essential Currently operating at a similar role as Forecast Analyst / Assistant Merchandiser A motivated and enthusiastic individual who is willing to contribute ideas Experience of planning weekly/monthly/seasonal sales and stock Excellent communication skills to build relationships internally at all levels Passion and interest for both wholesale and on-line retailing.
