Overview

National Business Development Specialist - Surgical Equipment Consult Search & Selection are looking for a Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for the development of business and sale of a range of advanced surgical operating tables and accessory products throughout the UK. With a national remit. The initial focus will be on the Advanced Spine portfolio, Robotics, and Hybrid portfolios. You will become the knowledge base and a trusted partner of both customers, internal sales team and external partners. Our client is a Global Market Leading Medical Devices manufacturer, specialising in; surgical equipment, connected care equipment, surgical workflows & instruments, cardiology diagnostics, and safe patient handling. This role is a management level position with ideal progression to Regional Sales Manager, as well as Commercial Account Management opportunities Location: UK and Ireland What we are looking for: Strong clinical sales background, preferably in an operating theatre environment, with a sound grasp of the various operating procedures. You should be commercially astute with the ability to work on large value, complex sales prospects with long lead times. Value and Solution seller, not price. With a creative flair, the successful candidate will be able to leverage sales of operating tables as package deals with their colleagues selling other product lines.
