Overview

National Account Manager We have a new opportunity available for an established food manufacturer. We are looking for a National Account Manager due to continued growth and expansion of the company. There are some very good times ahead and you would be joining the business at an excellent time. You will be focusing on driving the full P&L management and contribute toward the success of the divisional sales team. At the same time maintaining the relationships in place and pushing for growth year on year. Key responsibilities; To identify and cultivate new business opportunities that will satisfy customer needs Develop strategies and sales plans, taking responsibility for all new business and providing the highest level of customer service. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information To achieve KPIs, including sales targets To identify and cultivate new business opportunities that will satisfy customer needs About you; You will have a strong sales background in a customer facing role together with experience working with leading retailers (Waitrose, M&S or Sainsburys would be advantageous) show an undeniable passion for food and the industry Will thrive on working under pressure and excel in achieving sales targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth You will be adept at lead generation, booking in appointments, presenting face to face with chefs and owners, and closing business You will be tenacious and have a can-do attitude Excellent communication skills Why work here?
