Are you money motived, sales driven and want to work in a role which enables you to generate new business across Europe? Keep reading Our client, a large client who operate across a number of industries such as oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical etc are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive growth across the Europe region. You'll be reporting into the Regional Sales Director but also align closely with the Global Sales Leadership team. You will use your strong sales experience to develop strategies which will create a strong pipeline of new business and increase the market share of our client. The role To increase the number of active Clients and ultimately increase gross profit Understand and sell the full suite of services, capability and marketing offerings of the Group, introducing to the client , where necessary the expertise of the relevant senior personnel and/or relevant SME as required Demonstrate inspirational and proactive sales leadership and lead by example, both within region and across the Group Own and develop new clients within an allocated market sector Map sector markets building full visibility of client strategy, stakeholder maps and buying rationale Monitor markets and competitors and provide intelligence on client needs and competitor positions – both to Regional and Corporate Leadership Collaborate with peers promoting lead generation to drive the sales pipeline Provide content and actively own and/or support the production of group-wide bids and tenders Utilise the existing client-focused presentations with a view to securing them as a client Actively seek out new potential-client contacts through a wide range of means, including use of the CRM, personal networking and cold approaches Act as a trusted advisor by working with the relevant internal resource to consult with key client decision makers to understand their business critical issues and strategic objectives. Knowledge share amongst the global community with other company functions necessary to aid business development Attend the weekly sales calls with the global sales community and report on weekly activity; what has been achieved that week and what is currently in the immediate pipeline (Hot/Warm/Cold leads)
