Overview

pepper has a vision of providing the first end to end precision medicine experience for patients with multiple morbidities. pepper's working backwards from the problem area of polypharmacy, where patients take at least five regular medicines. This cohort experience twice the likelihood of side effects, have complex care needs and only 15% of their medicines are taken correctly as intended.  To start, pepper is currently piloting how to make the most out of the conversations between GPs, pharmacists and patients about the management of multiple chronic conditions across the Greater London area with charity partners and selected CCGs.  pepper was created through Zinc VC as part of their third mission to add five years of high quality to later life. We are actively building an advisory panel across data, technical and operational domains and beginning to make our first hires. As COO and co-founder of pepper, you will work directly with the CEO to set short term goals and long term objectives around how best to achieve our vision and mission. Key responsibilities will include:  Implementing co-design and prototyping with key stakeholders (patients, primary care practices and charity partners) now and project management of upcoming pilots.  Managing business development and commercial initiatives. Setting company culture, values and hiring the first key time. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and decision making with regards to product, marketing and strategy.  Attracting further key partners and assisting in the next round of grant and venture funding. Managing the governance and compliance with relation to data and confidentiality regulations. About you:  You have a proven track record in implementing new initiatives and change within healthcare/financial technology or systems with high throughput of data.  You’re passionate about making change in the healthcare dialogue with a patient-first mindset.  You’re a clear communicator with a sense of humour that can get sht done with careful prioritising and balance.  A clinical background is desirable.  Benefits Informal queries before application are welcome
