Overview
CTO Role pepper has a vision of providing the first end to end precision medicine experience for patients with multiple morbidities. pepper's working backwards from the problem area of polypharmacy, where patients take at least five regular medicines. This cohort experience twice the likelihood of side effects, have complex care needs and only 15% of their medicines are taken correctly as intended. To start, pepper is currently piloting how to make the most out of the conversations between GPs, pharmacists and patients about the management of multiple chronic conditions across the Greater London area with charity partners and selected CCGs. pepper as created through Zinc VC as part of their third mission to add five years of high quality to later life. We are actively building an advisory panel across data, technical and operational domains and beginning to make our first hires. As CTO and co-founder of pepper, you are responsible for working with the product and data team to execute the technical requirements of our mission. Other key responsibilities will include: Greenfield opportunity to create a best-in-class solution to the challenges that patients with multiple morbidities face. Setting company culture, values and hiring for the first engineering team. Attracting further key partners and assisting in the next round of grant and venture funding. Working with academic and healthcare partners to maximise the research and development potential of future work and collaborations. About you: Ideally full stack with experience in systems integration/open APIs Experience in health technology is desirable. All hands and user centric approach to problem solving.
