Location: London Bridge     We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales to join an innovative iOT tech start-up who, further to recent investment, are entering an exciting phase of growth and sales. Reporting to the Co-Founder, your role will be focussed on managing the Global Sales across a variety of channels including retailers and distributors.   As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales through managing and developing the sales team, the Global distributors network and leading OEM sales with the ambition to become the market leader. It is therefore important that you are a passionate individual who wants to make a difference.   We want a leader who is confident self-motivated, trustworthy and results-driven individual with a flair for sales and a passion for working in a customer centric environment whilst constantly seeking new initiatives to drive sales and reach the department targets.    You will have experience across B2C and B2B within consumer electronics. You will enjoy creating business plans, looking for opportunity over the next few years and be very hands on. You will build your own team, exciting right? This all forms part of our bigger picture to build a platform that changes the way we shop and consume food.       Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Manage the Global distribution channels ensuring distributors are motivated, knowledgeable and have the tools to drive sales. You will assess success and propose new distributors if needed Define, adapt and lead the Global commercial strategy, including product pricing, distributors, sales targets and commission structures. You will also lead OEM projects Work with and collaborate with COO on partnerships deals Maintain a strong market presence, competitor intelligence and links with external partners through trade shows, conference attendance and meetings Develop innovative routes and go-to-market strategies to continue to find high growth and repeat customers. Work closely with our Marketing team to build a well-functioning pipeline of leads through informing target audiences, value propositions, etc Manage and grow Key Customer Relationships Work closely with Operations and Marketing to guide the business and ensure ambitious targets are met Motivate, drive and inspire the sales team to maintain peak performance Recruit, train and develop your team, ensure staffing levels are maintained at budgeted levels Ensure KPIs relating to targets are met by all members of the sales team, along with meeting or exceeding profit-driven targets Report to the Senior Management Team on sales performance and strategy on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Must have requirements Used to reaching and exceeding commission driven targets Able to qualify and close deals Have experience in full P&L management Be a Confident influencer who is engaging and likeable Enjoys and has excellent presenting skills Have industry experience/ experience within consumer electronics Have experience managing and creating a sales strategy Be a problem solver who is fearless Have experience in managing a sales team Able to be realistic and measured when making decisions Have a high level of attention to detail Enjoys relationship building Experience in managing revenues of £5m Experience in working at a start-up or small business   Due to the number of applications we receive, only successful candidates will be contacted.
