Job Description

We are currently supporting an innovative, family-run SME who are actively seeking an Internal Account Manage r to join their existing team based in Doncaster . Your role will be working in a small internal sales team managing designated customer accounts in accordance with company procedures and performance indicators, whilst maintaining the highest levels of health and safety, welfare and security. Key responsibilities and duties of this role... * Regular contact with Buyers/Key decision makers * Monitoring drop off on product lines * Growing accounts to target through cross/up-sell opportunities as well as communicating company brochures and literature through all available channels * Ensuring that any requests for information from any customers that you are responsible for are carried out in an expeditious and competent manner. * Providing quotations as required by customers in accordance with company procedures * Keeping regular contact with External Account managers with customers that you are jointly responsible for. * Following up visits by External Account Manager's in a timely and efficient manner * Requesting visits where necessary by External Account Managers * Covering for other Internal Account Managers as required * Representing the company at external events and locations such as trade exhibitions as required * Liaising with internal company members and departments as required * Carry out duties which from time to time may be reasonably requested by the management team Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Experience in an Internal Sales environment is preferred though not essential * Account management experience desirable * Experience with construction or civil engineering is desirable (not essential) * Enthusiasm, drive and a can-do attitude is essential * Excellent communication skills * Strong telephone manner * Able to work on their own initiative and to productivity targets (Kpi`s) * Suitable numerical and reading skills to complete computer tasks and follow written instructions Hours: 07:30am - 17:00pm (Mon-Fri) Benefits * Salary 25k - 30k + Bonus * Lunch provided 1 day per week * 1 Day off on your Birthday * Company products can be bought at cost price
