Job Description

Vubiquity is looking for a Global Head of DevOps to lead the charge in a fast-paced and agile environment within the digital media industry. This Global Head of DevOps is expected to lead the design, implement and delivery of solution automation, reliability and quality improvements of release processes. You will be expected to help automate and streamline our operations and processes and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments. An Ideal candidate is one with recent experience leading DevOps efforts. This candidate should possess great communication skills while working directly with Product Owners, Developers, and Engineering teams in support of the CI/CD initiatives. This role will require travel between London and Los Angeles. The idea candidate will have excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of Agile & Scrum methodologies. + Have a clear understanding of the application development tools with the CICM infrastructure that can help optimize and scale it out accordingly. + Work in conjunction with IT, Operations, and Product Development teams to drive and mature the automated deployment process. + Lead and guide the design, development of reusable components, and document custom automation frameworks to build continuous delivery pipelines and maintain service availability. + Contribute to product release planning lifecycle including verification of the functionality of components and services, integration components, and security baselines. Build towards automated deployment processes using CI/CD and configuration management technology solutions. + Deploy and decommission client environments for multi and single tenant hosted applications following and updating as needed established processes and procedures. + Responsible for application administration activities in support of development, user acceptance test and production systems including web-deployed applications + 10+ years' equivalent work experience in a Lead technical position responsible for managing multitenant software products in a variety of environments including Amazon AWS. + 5+ years' experience working in medium to large globally expanding companies while contributing to design, implementation, and automated product release through deployment pipelines, testing, support and project management . + Excellent understanding of technical architecture design techniques, theories, principles and practices with knowledge on broad range of hardware and software products or Amazon AWS cloud services. + Strong knowledge of CI/CD automation tools and components like Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Selenium, Bit Bucket, Bamboo, Ansible, Nagios. + Proficient with working in agile software development environments, conducting analysis and programming skill sets. Must have a working knowledge of Java, C#, Python, Ruby, etc. + Strong Skillsets with Linux variants (RH/CentOS), Apache admin, Windows Server environments desirable. + Strong understanding of Jira + Proficient understanding of Webserver technologies, Networking Concepts, DB management, hypervisor solutions, SAN/NAS, Data Center Operations, and common services including DNS, DHCP, etc. ID: 2019-2689 External Company URL: www.vubiquity.com Street: 3 More London
