Based in the UK, INSTANDA is an insurance software provider challenging the status quo. We have built an exciting software tool which fundamentally changes how companies who sell insurance can design and deliver insurance products to the market. We work directly with Insurers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and Brokers. Using leading-edge technologies, INSTANDA insurance software is entirely configurable from the ground up. It is not a one-size-fits-all model. We allow companies to use insurance software in the way they want to. We have many global clients using INSTANDA who confirm the game-changing benefits of the product significant speed coupled with time and cost savings for the insurance sector. Founded in 2012, we spent several years designing and building the platform which is now being used globally by some of the worlds largest insurance companies. Amongst our many achievements, we were recently chosen by Microsoft UK as a disruptive technology that their ventures program sponsored. With just 20 employees in the company in January 2017, INSTANDA now has over 100 employees based in the UK (London, Histon, and Huntingdon), in the US, and Canada. Learn more about us at JOB DESCRIPTION Were offering a Head of Sales role for the Life & Health Business, the opportunity to join the INSTANDA Life & Health team reporting to our MD Life & Health, Trevor Davis. This is a new role within INSTANDA with simple goal to generate exponential growth in revenue and client accounts in the Global Life & Health business following an extremely successful business launch in 2019. You will work directly with Trevor to build on the success generated in 2019 and to leverage the unique Instanda platform and specific propositions developed for the Life & Health sectors. Responsibilities will include: * Developing the sales strategy and identify potential client partners * Generate contacts and potential leads, directly and with the marketing teams * Co-ordinate marketing plans with Trevor and the Head of Marketing * Generate networks within the sectors, including with your own and our partner networks * Lead key sales activities from inception to contract * Critically, to work with solution, delivery and IT teams to align solutions to client needs as part of the sales cycle Whats are the characteristics required from the successful candidate? * Proven track record in lead generation and sales for software in a digital context, ideally within the life, pensions or health sectors * Strong consulting and relationship building skills, both with clients and internally within the organisation * Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks at the same time and be able to work with Execs (C Suite) as well as technology, solutions and junior staff within clients and INSTANDA * Understanding of technology with an ability to connect client requirements to INSTANDA solutions * Ability to communicate complex ideas simply for Executive overview as well as detailed requirements * Strong team work ethic but a proven ability to take and make decisions with key internal and external decision makers Requirements * You have a Degree in a relevant subject eg business, economics, marketing, technology * 10yrs plus commercial, sales or consulting experience at executive level resulting in proven client & revenue growth * You will have a proven record of identifying client opportunities and converting them into contracted sales revenue * You are a strong communicator with great customer engagement skills * We operate a fast-paced environment and youll need the ability to manage competing priorities * Well be looking to you to illustrate to us your ability to be organised and prioritise * You will have an active desire to increase exposure to new technologies and a passion for self-learning Benefits * We offer a base salary together with a strong annual bonus potential payable against individual and overall business sales targets this is in addition to a discretionary quarterly basis bonus based on the performance of the company for our employees who have passed their probationary period * We offer 25 vacation days but recognise that some people like more personal time! We offer the option of buying up to 5 additional vacation days per year * We offer a wellness allowance of 100 GBP per month.
