Job Description
dunnhumby is looking for a talented Group Tax Manager You will manage dunnhumby's direct, indirect and employment tax compliance, including compliance, reporting, and tax accounting globally. You will drive dunnhumby's tax strategy and advise our markets and 3rd party providers on tax matters to ensure global compliance. You will also partner with and leverage Tesco's Group Tax team where appropriate and ensure full compliance with all Tesco's guidelines. What you'll be doing: * Oversee preparation of tax returns globally and liaise with the UK HMRC and other Tax authorities as required. * Assist with the management of the Group's transfer pricing risk ensuring material intra-group arrangements are priced and documented appropriately. * Manage the expatriate tax and social security compliance process globally and manage the relationship with dunnhumby's professional tax advisers to facilitate and ensure fulfilment of compliance obligations whilst maximizing value for the business. * Manage dunnhumby's relationship with the tax authorities on employee tax and social security matters, dealing with and resolving all enquiries, disclosures and compliance matters. * Manage the effective utilization of tax services from external providers at an operational level. * Oversee dunnhumby's direct tax payments, tax reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities, policies and internal reporting timetable. * Prepare all tax disclosures and narrative for the consolidated Group accounts under IFRS and reporting packs to parent company. * In conjunction with Tesco Group Tax, review new legislation and reporting standards and advise on the implications on tax rates, forecasts and disclosures. Who you'll get to work with: Within dunnhumby you'll work with the Global Head of Tax, country controllers and business partners. Externally, you'll frequently be in contact with Tax Advisors, 3rd party local service providers, tax auditors and the Tesco tax team.
