About the Front-End Team We are a small team of experienced software engineers with varied experience and academic backgrounds. We develop and maintain all frontend code that powers the GameAnalytics web tool. What we are looking for We are seeking an experienced frontend lead to join our growing team in the London office. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of GameAnalytics, taking on the following responsibilities: * Team Leadership * Provide the foundation for the team to work together successfully and collaborate with the rest of the company. * Technical Leadership * Be a hands-on engineer who can ensure and drive code quality and guide the technical decision making. * Deliver Quality * Take ownership of the final product, ensuring the team meets industry best practices and produces quality software. * Planning and Prioritisation * Understand the needs of the business and customers to successfully prioritise and manage the teams work. * Mentorship * Help individual team members achieve their personal objectives and develop their skills. Requirements * Provable and demonstrable in-depth knowledge of JavaScript * Experience building and maintaining data-intensive single page applications, preferably using React * Experience of growing and managing a team of engineers * Coordinating, planning and delivery of your team's responsibilities, including stakeholder updates * Ensuring technical excellence - drive decisions regarding frontend structure, coding guidelines, testing, QA, and delivery. * Good understanding of automation and the toolset needed for successful software development projects Desirable: * Passion for gaming and data analytics * Good knowledge of popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Ember.js, Vue.js) * Experience with other frontend languages (TypeScript, CoffeeScript, Elm) * Experience working with Cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) * Experience with CI, automation tools and relevant AWS frameworks, such as TravisCI Terraform, Cloudfront or S3 Benefits * Food, snacks and drinks * Opportunity to work with the biggest and most innovative gaming companies in the world * Self-learning budget via Sunlight * 35 monthly expensable for phone bill * Office in Central London (with bike racks) and entertainment area incl. newest consoles and popular games * Cycle to work scheme * 25 days paid holiday (excluding bank holiday) * Working from home policy * "Work-from-Anywhere" Scheme
