Role We are looking for a Senior Growth Analyst to join our Analytics Chapter and App Tribe (~15 members but growing fast with a startup feel to how they operate). We record nearly 100 million lines of data a day just from the website interactions, and we need you to help us make sense of it and deliver the insights that will help answer commercial questions we face every day. Our stack includes; Snowflake, dbt, Looker, AWS Glue (spark/python), AWS S3, Python. Some of our projects will include: * Definition and validation of Growth Metrics (Reforge Framework + North star Metrics +K factor) * Creation of reporting /tooling for Growth Metrics * Analysis: drivers of ROI in our paid loop, halo effect etc * Segmentation of target audiences / engagement states * Forecasting and Growth Scenarios: creation of automated growth models to forecast growth and identify opportunities. Creation of scenarios to prioritise expansion opportunities. In this role, you will join our cross-functional App Tribe of Product / Growth managers and Engineers, to work together with them and empower them with data models, reports and analysis. Your role will be varied and challenging and it will also include: * Building new data models in dbt where needed, to support new insights in Looker and services which need data * Analysing our App/Web Analytics data and provide insights on the likely causes for changes in performance and drivers of customer engagement * Helping us to understand the profitable and less profitable activity on our App * Delivering ad hoc and BAU reports and field queries from the App Tribe Requirements * Minimum 2 years working within a Growth (preferably) or Marketing team * Experience working in a tech startup/scale-up environment, comfortable with changing environment and lean and agile methodologies * A great communicator, comfortable working directly with engineers, product teams, marketing groups and partnerships teams in collaboration * Experience in analysing large, complex data sets and producing clear actionable insights to stakeholders * Ability to prioritise problems in order to focus on the biggest issues * Desire to change strategy through analysis and recommendation * A keen desire to be part of the Lyst culture - fail fast, thrive on feedback * You'll be able to spot opportunities to automate repetitive tasks * Professional experience using an advanced level of SQL to manipulate large data sets (transactions, complex joins, CTEs, window functions) * Expertise in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent) * Python, dbt and git experience would be a great bonus Benefits * Private Healthcare by Vitality (From Day One) * Company pension (up to 3% matching) * Flexible working * 29 days holiday, alongside 8 public bank holidays too * The Lyst Clothing Benefit.
