Job Description

School of Business and Economics Research Assistant Fixed term for 6 months, 6 hours per week The primary purpose of this position is to support the research of container leasing industry, characterized by a bilateral oligopoly market, long-standing customer relationships and multi-unit demand, to explore the container leasing bargaining in a finite horizon. A specific responsibility will be field visiting, data collection and sorting, business report summarizing. The post holder will also be asked to play a supporting role in other project research activities, in particular preparing, transcribing and writing up of interviews, surveys and focus group meetings; and in desk based review of the regulatory and other barriers in container leasing operations in practice.
