Overview
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen with a specialist company in the construction industry for a new Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the following duties: Production of monthly management accounts pack Cashflow management and relevant reporting WIP calculations and margin analysis Maintenance of fixed asset register Overseeing sales ledger and reconciling any discrepancies Reviewing debtors and ensuring strong cash position through credit control Overseeing purchase ledger and supplier payments Producing monthly bank reconciliations Maintaining and improving finance systems VAT Returns Payroll for the company including pension administration CIS returns Assisting with year-end accounts Ensuring the company is compliant with all tax liabilities This is a hugely varied role that will provide the successful candidate autonomy and scope for introducing new procedures and processes. The chosen applicant will demonstrate the following personal and professional capabilities: CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience Thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques Enjoys a changeable and varied workload Knowledge of Sage accounting package Hands-on and proactive approach Strong understanding or projects and cashflow management If you would like to find out more about unique opportunity then please contact Graham at Atkinson Moss.
